About The Beauty Bottler

Dear Visitor,

In the spring of 2008 I decided to self-train as a MakeUp Artist. Because I am an artist, I was comfortable in using “the face” as a canvas. I put out  an SOS to my friends asking to borrow their faces for this training. The response was very encouraging. The actual experience  of  “doing” my friends’ faces was even more encouraging. And thus a new career path was born.

I had been passionate about makeup for many years. I just love the way colours decorate my face, and change my mood. When I apply makeup, I feel as if I am playing.

How lucky am I!

Then in the Fall of 2009, I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease which has the potential of scarring my face. After asking the life/death question, my next thought was of gratitude. I vowed, that day in my doctor’s office, to support  women (and men) who are in a similar space. This declaration led to a thoroughly heartening conversation with my Rheumatologist.

And of course, what is life without serendipity! It wasn’t long before I started to meet other makeup artists. Amongst this great group of women was a now new friend who is a Certified Paramedical Cosmetician, Riva Waldman. I started to study with Riva, resulting in me being certified as a Paramedical Camouflage MakeUp Artist.

I invite you to view my website and to email me with your questions. I am happy to receive your emails and to respond.

Take rheal good care. Lookin’ forward as always and in all ways, I am,
